I walked for what seemed like hours. It was freezing outside. There was an endless amount of snow. To make matters worse I think I'm being watched. When I first began walking I felt nothing. After about a half hour I felt like someone was watching me. I looked around in bushes and just waved it off as paranoia. But the feeling wouldn't go away. Stupidly I turn around and yelled out
"HEY IF ANYONE IS FOLLOWING ME QUIT IT OR COME OUT"
Thankfully nothing happened, and there were no nearby animals that could hear me. I know what you're thinking reader, and yes I was a dumb little girl. But give me a break! My parents just died and now some wild animal is probably hunting an easy meal.
I stood still for a few minutes listening really hard and trying to catch any movement. All I could hear was my own breathing and heartbeat. I am standing in the middle of the woods, alone in the dark, where any wild animals looking for an easy kill could attack me and win. I started walking again,
